One of my all time favourite desserts has to be a flan & this delicious cinnamony and orange version is amazing! What's not to love about that combo?

    395g (about 1¼ cups)

    20g (about 2½ tbsp)

    200ml (¾ cup)

Step preview

  1. Add golden caster sugar to a clean frying pan
  2. Fry until completely melted while stirring occasionally - 10 min, medium heat
  3. Transfer content of frying pan to round pan
  4. Let cool completely
  5. Pre-heat - 160°C
  6. Add milk, condensed milk, egg, egg yolk, cornflour, single cream, orange, ground cinnamon and vanilla bean paste to the TM5 bowl
  7. Fit TM5 bowl to TM5
  8. Blend - approx 15 sec, speed 10
  9. Transfer custard to caramel
  10. Place caramel on baking dish
  11. Add water to the baking dish halfway
  12. Cook until set - 45 min, 160°C
  13. Let cool completely
  14. Refrigerate in fridge - 4 hr
  15. Serve
