Flaky pie crust is seriously the best dessert invention ever. No sugar, buttery, feather light. It is really the way to go for most of my pies!

Ingredients

  • Water icon

    50g (about 3½ tbsp)
  • Coconut oil icon

    54ml (3¾ tbsp)
  • Plain flour icon
    Plain flour
    180g (about 1½ cups)
  • Sea salt icon

    1 pinch
  • Apple cider vinegar icon
    Apple cider vinegar
    2 tsp (10ml)

Step preview

  1. Add butter, coconut oil, plain flour, sea salt and apple cider vinegar to the TM5 bowl
  2. Fit TM5 bowl to TM5
  3. Mix - approx 10 sec, speed 6
  4. Add water to the TM5 bowl while blending
  5. Mix - approx 5 sec, speed 7
  6. Form into a ball
  7. Wrap with plastic wrap
  8. Chill in fridge - approx 20 min
