  1. Prep and set aside nutmeg: grated
  2. Get a clean saucepan
  3. Add potato
  4. Cover with water
  5. Cover
  6. Boil
  7. Simmer for 20min until cooked through
  8. Drain
  9. Peel
  10. Mash
  11. Transfer potatoes to large mixing bowl
  12. Get large mixing bowl
  13. Add prepared nutmeg
  14. Sift plain flour
  15. Season with salt & pepper
  16. Add egg
  17. Mix a work surface quickly until small clumps form
  18. Knead gently until smooth
  19. Transfer dough to work surface
  20. Divide into thirds with dough scraper
  21. Roll
  22. Cut
  23. Add water to a large saucepan
  24. Transfer dough balls to baking sheet
  25. Get large saucepan
  26. Add salt
  27. Boil
  28. Transfer dough balls to large saucepan
  29. Cook for approx 4min
  30. Remove with slotted spoon
  31. Serve immediately
