I am pretty sure that this could replace traditional mash at any time!! It is SO good. You will be addicted. You have been warned. Make sure you soak your chickpeas overnight the day before!

Step preview

  1. Prep and set aside dried chickpeas: soaked & drained
  2. Get the simmering basket
  3. Add prepared dried chickpeas
  4. Fit the TM5 bowl to TM5
  5. Add water
  6. Cook - approx 30 min, 90°C, speed 3
  7. Drain
  8. Add garlic clove
  9. Add butter
  10. Chop - approx 3 sec, speed 5
  11. Sauté - approx 5 min, varoma, speed 1
  12. Transfer chickpeas to TM5 bowl
  13. Add single cream
  14. Add sea salt
  15. Add black pepper
  16. Cook - approx 5 min, 100°C, reverse speed 2
  17. Blend - approx 30 sec, speed 8
  18. Top with parmesan cheese
  19. Serve immediately
