  • Coconut oil icon
    Coconut oil1 tablespoonmelted

  • Rolled oats icon

  • Honey icon
    Honey2 tablespoons
  • Chocolate chips icon
    Chocolate chips50 g
  • Salt icon

    Method

  • 1. Preheat your oven to 170c/325f
  • 2. Line a clean baking sheet with parchment paper
  • 3. Place the banana in a medium sized bowl and mash it with a fork
  • 4. Add the oats, honey and coconut oil and give everything a good stir until combined
  • 5. Leave to rest on the counter top for 10 minutes, so that the oats can absorb the moisture from the other ingredients
  • 6. After 10 minutes, add in the chocolate chips and stir to combine
  • 7. Take a tbsp. of the mixture in your hand, roll into a ball and then squash to flatten into a thick disk (approx. 1cm thick)
  • 8. Place on a baking tray and repeat until all your mixture is used up
  • 9. Place in the oven and cook for 15 minutes, 170°C
  • 10. Sprinkle with chocolate chips
  • 11. Let cool
