    METHOD


  • 1. Add water, milk and unsalted butter to a clean saucepan
  • 2. Heat gently and set aside
  • 3. Add plain flour, sugar, quick-rise yeast and salt to a clean large mixing bowl
  • 4. Whisk briefly until combined
  • 5. Transfer butter to dough
  • 6. Mix until combined
  • 7. Add egg to the dough
  • 8. Mix until dough forms
  • 9. Knead until smooth - 10 min, dough hook
  • 10. Grease a clean medium bowl
  • 11. Transfer dough to medium bowl and cover
  • 12. Let rise until doubled - 1 hr
  • 13. Grease a clean round pan
  • 14. Turn out large mixing bowl on lightly-floured surface
  • 15. Roll
  • 16. Add unsalted butter, granulated sugar and ground cinnamon to a clean small bowl
  • 17. Mix briefly until combined
  • 18. Spread sugar mixture with large mixing bowl
  • 19. Roll
  • 20. Cut
  • 21. Arrange dough in round pan and cover
  • 22. Let rise with plastic wrap - 30 min
  • 23. Pre-heat oven - 190°C
  • 24. Bake until lightly browned - 25 min, 190°C
  • 25. Add powdered sugar, ground cinnamon and milk to a clean medium bowl
  • 26. Mix together
  • 27. Drizzle rolls with glaze
