Now, I am a firm believer of less is more. This belief applies to these fajitas. I like them clean, charred, and sautéed with teriyaki. Yes, an Asian sauce. I found the taste was amazing.

Step preview

  1. Get a clean small bowl
  2. Add chicken breast
  3. Add teriyaki sauce and mix
  4. Chill in fridge for approx 30min
  5. Pre-heat
  6. Heat a medium cast iron skillet on high heat
  7. Add olive oil
  8. Transfer chicken to chicken
  9. Sprinkle with kosher salt
  10. Sprinkle with black pepper
  11. Cook each side for approx 3min on high heat
  12. Transfer
  13. Cook for approx 15min
  14. Heat a medium cast iron skillet
  15. Add olive oil
  16. Add sliced onion
  17. Stir for approx 5min
  18. Add sliced green capsicum
  19. Add teriyaki sauce
  20. Stir continuously for approx 5min on high heat
  21. Transfer chicken to plate
  22. Cut into strips
  23. Transfer chicken to medium cast iron skillet
  24. Stir on low heat
  25. Wrap with flour tortilla
  26. Garnish with grated cheddar cheese
  27. Garnish with sour cream
