A simple day-to-day pie crust that can be used with both sweet and savory fillings. Makes enough to cover 2 single 9" dishes or 1 covered pie. Freeze or refrigerate for up to 3 days.

  • All purpose flour icon

    345 g (about 2 ¾ cups)

    280 g (about 1 ¼ cups)cold, cubed

    METHOD


  • 1. Add all purpose flour, salt and unsalted butter to a clean large mixing bowl
  • 2. Rub in until coarse crumbs form
  • 3. Add water to a clean small bowl
  • 4. Mix water into dough gradually
  • 5. Wrap with plastic wrap
  • 6. Chill in fridge - approx 1 hr
