Step preview

  1. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper
  2. Get a clean large mixing bowl
  3. Add rolled oats
  4. Add all purpose flour
  5. Add wheat germ
  6. Add baking soda
  7. Add baking powder
  8. Add ground cinnamon
  9. Add salt
  10. Whisk briefly until blended
  11. Get a clean stand mixer bowl
  12. Add room temperature unsalted butter
  13. Add light brown sugar
  14. Add granulated sugar
  15. Cream together
  16. Add egg one by one while mixing
  17. Add vanilla extract
  18. Mix until combined
  19. Transfer dry ingredients to dough
  20. Mix gently until just combined
  21. Get a clean small bowl
  22. Add raisins
  23. Transfer raisins to dough
  24. Mix until mixture comes together
  25. Chill in fridge for 20min
  26. Pre-heat
  27. Scoop dough onto 2 baking sheets
  28. Press lightly
  29. Bake for 12min until browned at edges
  30. Let cool for approx 5min
  31. Transfer onto cooling rack
