Step preview

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
  2. Get a clean medium bowl
  3. Add all purpose flour
  4. Add cocoa powder
  5. Add baking soda
  6. Add salt
  7. Whisk briefly until blended
  8. Get a clean medium glass bowl
  9. Add chopped dark chocolate
  10. Melt in double boiler then set aside
  11. Get a clean large mixing bowl
  12. Add room temperature unsalted butter
  13. Add light brown sugar
  14. Add vanilla extract
  15. Cream together
  16. Add egg
  17. Add milk
  18. Mix until combined
  19. Transfer chocolate mixture to dough
  20. Mix gently until combined
  21. Transfer dry ingredients to dough bit by bit while mixing
  22. Chill in fridge for 1h
  23. Pre-heat
  24. Get a clean small bowl
  25. Add granulated sugar
  26. Add powdered sugar and mix
  27. Roll dough in sugar mixture
  28. Transfer dough to baking sheet
  29. Bake for 14min
  30. Transfer onto cooling rack
