Step preview

  1. Get a clean large saucepan
  2. Add olive oil
  3. Heat on medium heat
  4. Add finely chopped onion
  5. Add chopped garlic
  6. Sauté for approx 5min until soft
  7. Add red wine
  8. Add diced canned tomatoes
  9. Heat until simmering
  10. Add water
  11. Heat until simmering while stirring occasionally
  12. Add heavy cream
  13. Add kosher salt
  14. Add ground black pepper
  15. Simmer for 5min and turn off heat
  16. Mix in golden balsamic vinegar
  17. Blend until smooth
  18. Serve
