  1. Get a clean large saucepan
  2. Add vegetable oil
  3. Add popcorn kernels
  4. Heat on high heat and cover
  5. Shake for 2min
  6. Uncover and continue
  7. Sprinkle with salt then set aside
  8. Get a clean saucepan
  9. Add granulated sugar
  10. Add water
  11. Add corn syrup
  12. Boil on medium heat until golden brown
  13. Replace on drop
  14. Add butter carefully
  15. Stir thoroughly until completely melted
  16. Add baking soda and mix
  17. Add peanuts
  18. Transfer popcorn to caramel
  19. Season with salt
  20. Stir gently until coated
  21. Spread evenly and let cool
