    METHOD


  • 1. Add whole milk and sugar to the inner pot
  • 2. Stir until sugar has dissolved
  • 3. Add basmati rice, golden raisins, cardamom pods and salt to the inner pot
  • 4. Mix well
  • 5. Close and lock the lid and turn the steam release handle to Sealing
  • 6. Pressure cook - Manual, High, 5 min
  • 7. Natural release - 10 min
  • 8. Release pressure - Quick venting
  • 9. Stir well
  • 10. Garnish with orange zest and pistachios
