Method
1. Pre-heat oven - 175°C
2. Grease and flour a clean round pan
3. Add butter and white sugar to a clean stand mixer bowl
4. Cream until fluffy
5. Add egg to the batter
6. Beat
7. Add egg to the batter
8. Beat
9. Add sour cream and vanilla extract to the batter
10. Fold until combined
11. Add all purpose flour and baking powder to a clean small bowl and mix
12. Transfer dry ingredients to batter
13. Fold until just combined
14. Add pecan pieces, white sugar and ground cinnamon to a clean small bowl and stir
15. Transfer one third of batter to round pan
16. Transfer three quarters of nuts to round pan
17. Transfer the rest of batter to round pan
18. Transfer the rest of nuts to round pan
19. Bake and let cool - 55 min, 175°C
20. Serve
