Easy baked donuts with a Christmassy filling, but perfect for any occasion requiring something sweet!

    METHOD


  • 1. Pre-heat oven - 180°C
  • 2. Add sea salt, golden caster sugar, butter, dried yeast, buttermilk and egg to the TM5 bowl
  • 3. Heat - approx 1 min, 37°C, speed 3
  • 4. Then add bread flour to the TM5 bowl
  • 5. Knead - approx 2 min, dough
  • 6. Transfer content of TM5 bowl to lightly floured surface
  • 7. Form together
  • 8. Wrap tightly with plastic wrap
  • 9. Let rise until doubled
  • 10. Add pistachios, vanilla bean and sugar to the TM5 bowl
  • 11. Blitz - approx 10 sec, speed 8
  • 12. Then add almond extract, orange extract, lemon extract, dried cranberries, currants and rum to the TM5 bowl
  • 13. Blend - approx 10 sec, speed 6
  • 14. Transfer content of TM5 bowl to cutting board
  • 15. Form
  • 16. Cut into pieces
  • 17. Line a clean baking sheet with parchment paper
  • 18. Roll dough
  • 19. Cut
  • 20. Roll into dough balls
  • 21. Flatten
  • 22. Transfer filling to dough
  • 23. Fold
  • 24. Place dough on baking sheet evenly and cover
  • 25. Let rise until doubled
  • 26. Bake until light golden - 10 min, 180°C
  • 27. Brush with simple syrup
  • 28. Roll in caster sugar
