With winter, quite often, comes the flu or a nasty cold. Get this down you to prevent and cure. Full of goodness, this tonic is going to fix anything!

    Ingredients

  • Ginger icon
    Ginger30 gpeeled
  • Cinnamon stick icon
    Cinnamon stick1broken up
  • Lemon icon
    Lemon2peel, juice of
  • Ground turmeric icon
    Ground turmeric1 teaspoon
  • Chili flakes icon
    Chili flakes1 pinch
  • Black peppercorns icon
    Black peppercorns10
  • Water icon
    Water1 L
  • Runny honey icon
    Runny honey80 g
    Method

  • 1. Add ground turmeric, ginger and chili flakes to the TM5 bowl
  • 2. Chop - approx 3 sec, speed 5
  • 3. Then add black peppercorns, cinnamon stick, lemon and water to the mixture
  • 4. Cook - approx 10 min, 80°C, reverse speed 1
  • 5. Strain and reserve liquid
  • 6. Stir runny honey into the mixture to taste
  • 7. Serve
