Flaky pie crust is seriously the best dessert invention ever. No sugar, buttery, feather light. It is really the way to go for most of my pies!

    INGREDIENTS


  • Water icon
    Water

    as neededcold

  • Butter icon
    Butter

    50 g (about 3 ½ tablespoons)

  • Coconut oil icon
    Coconut oil

    50 g (about 3 ⅝ tablespoons)

  • All purpose flour icon
    All purpose flour

    180 g (about 1 ½ cups)

  • Sea salt icon
    Sea salt

    1 pinch

  • Apple cider vinegar icon
    Apple cider vinegar

    2 teaspoons (about 10 g)

    METHOD


  • 1. Add butter, coconut oil, all purpose flour, sea salt and apple cider vinegar to the TM5 bowl
  • 2. Mix - approx 10 sec, speed 6
  • 3. Add water to the TM5 bowl while blending
  • 4. Mix - approx 5 sec, speed 7
  • 5. Form into a ball
  • 6. Wrap with plastic wrap
  • 7. Chill in fridge - approx 20 min
