These tasty mini chicken patties would be popular on a party buffet. They could also be made as meatballs to serve with toothpicks!

    500 g (about 4 cups)

    4 (about 60 g)finely chopped

  • Cilantro icon

    15 g (about ½ cup)finely chopped

  • Soy sauce icon

    1 tablespoon (about 18 g)

  • Egg white icon

    1 (about 30 g)

  • Sesame oil icon

    1 tablespoon (about 13.8 g)

  • Sunflower oil icon
    Sunflower oil

    1 tablespoon (about 14.25 g)

  • Sweet chili sauce icon

    METHOD


  • 1. Add ground chicken, green onion, cilantro, sesame seeds, soy sauce, ginger and egg white to a clean large mixing bowl
  • 2. Mix until well combined
  • 3. Form into rounds
  • 4. Chill in fridge - 1 hr
  • 5. Add sesame oil and sunflower oil to a clean frying pan
  • 6. Heat in frying pan - medium heat
  • 7. Transfer chicken to frying pan
  • 8. Cook each side until cooked through - approx 5 min, medium heat
  • 9. Transfer content of frying pan to serving plate
  • 10. Serve with sweet chili sauce
