Classic not-too-sweet vanilla cupcakes with blackberry buttercream frosting. The buttercream is naturally a beautiful purple color and gives the cupcakes a sweet and tangy finish!

  2. Line a muffin pan
  3. Get a clean medium bowl
  4. Add all purpose flour
  5. Add baking powder
  6. Whisk briefly and set aside
  7. Get a clean large mixing bowl
  8. Add room temperature unsalted butter
  9. Add granulated sugar
  10. Cream
  11. Add vanilla extract
  12. Mix in egg one by one
  13. Transfer dry ingredients to batter
  14. Mix until well combined
  15. Spoon batter into muffin pan
  16. Bake for 18min until skewer tests clean
  17. Transfer onto cooling rack until completely cool
  18. Get a clean small bowl
  19. Add blackberries
  20. Purée
  21. Strain with sieve and set aside
  22. Get a clean large mixing bowl
  23. Add room temperature unsalted butter
  24. Add powdered sugar
  25. Mix until well combined
  26. Transfer fruit to frosting
  27. Mix briefly until combined
  28. Spread frosting with muffin pan
  29. Garnish with blackberries
