    Method

  • 1. Add egg, buttermilk, golden caster sugar and ?salt flakes to the TM5 bowl
  • 2. Blend with MC fitted - 10 sec, speed 8
  • 3. Then add self raising flour to the batter
  • 4. Combine - 20 sec, dough
  • 5. Add melted butter
  • 6. Combine - 10 sec, dough
  • 7. Pre-heat a clean frying pan - 5 min, medium heat
  • 8. Brush with extra virgin olive oil
  • 9. Scoop about 1/3 cup batter into the frying pan and cook on one side until bubbles arise to the surface
  • 10. Flip and cook the other side
  • 11. Serve warm, with toppings of choice
