Sorbet is a fat-free and dairy-free way to cool down in the summer. We used honeydew melon, but cantaloupe makes a beautifully colored and delicately flavored dessert also.

  1. Get a clean saucepan
  2. Add lime juice
  3. Add granulated sugar
  4. Add honey
  5. Heat until dissolved
  6. Let cool
  7. Get a clean large mixing bowl
  8. Add peeled, diced melon
  9. Transfer

  11. Blend together until smooth
  12. Chill in fridge
  13. Churn in ice cream maker
  14. Freeze until firm
  15. Serve
