  1. Get a clean small glass bowl
  2. Add unsalted butter
  3. Melt in microwave on low heat
  4. Get a clean medium glass bowl
  5. Add separated egg yolk
  6. Add juice of lemon
  7. Add cold water
  8. Whisk together
  9. Place in double boiler
  10. Whisk vigorously until thick
  11. Add butter to eggs slowly
  12. Season with salt & pepper
  13. Serve immediately
