A very family friendly salad in that you can scale it up or down to meet the size of the crowd you are feeding. Everyone loves it!

  • Asparagus icon

    2 headstrimmed

  • Lime icon

    2 (about 200 g)zest of, juice of

  • Avocado icon

    3 (about 495 g)sliced

  • Green beans icon

    250 g (about 2 cups)

  • Egg icon

    6 (about 300 g)

  • Water icon

    1 L (about 4 ¼ cups)

  • Mayonnaise icon

    100 g (about ¼ cup)

  • Sea salt icon

    1 pinch

  • Black pepper icon

  • Avocado icon

    1 (about 165 g)

  • Fresh parsley icon

    ¼ cup (about 16 g)

    METHOD


  • 1. Add green beans and asparagus to the varoma dish
  • 2. Add egg to the simmering basket
  • 3. Add water to the TM5 bowl
  • 4. Cook - approx 5 min, 100°C, speed 2
  • 5. Steam varoma dish - approx 11 min, Varoma, speed 2
  • 6. Transfer content of varoma dish to water bath
  • 7. Drain eggs
  • 8. Peel
  • 9. Slice half
  • 10. Drain TM5 bowl
  • 11. Add mayonnaise, lime, sea salt, black pepper and avocado to the TM5 bowl
  • 12. Blend - approx 20 sec, speed 7
  • 13. Transfer vegetables to serving plate
  • 14. Transfer eggs to serving plate
  • 15. Arrange avocado in the serving plate
  • 16. Pour content of TM5 bowl into serving plate
  • 17. Garnish with fresh parsley
  • 18. Serve
