    METHOD


  • 1. Add unsalted butter to a clean small bowl
  • 2. Melt in microwave
  • 3. Add egg, milk, granulated sugar and salt to a clean medium bowl and whisk to mix
  • 4. Add melted butter
  • 5. Whisk together
  • 6. Transfer egg mixture to medium roasting dish
  • 7. Soak bread slices for about a minute in the egg mixture
  • 8. Pre-heat skillet on medium-high heat and add a little butter
  • 9. Fry the bread slices on each side until golden brown
