The very iconic sauce behind Pad Thai. Sour and Salty and just a little bit sweet. You can drizzle this onto anything Asian...really.

    INGREDIENTS


  • Lime icon
    Lime

    ½ (about 50 g)juice of

  • Tamarind paste icon
    Tamarind paste

    220 g (about ¾ cup)

  • Soy sauce icon
    Soy sauce

    75 g (about ¼ cup)

  • Fish sauce icon
    Fish sauce

    75 g (about ¼ cup)

  • Water icon
    Water

    50 g (about 3 ⅜ tablespoons)

    METHOD


  • 1. Add tamarind paste, soy sauce, fish sauce, water and lime to the TM5 bowl
  • 2. Cook with MC in place - approx 5 min, 80°C, speed 1
  • 3. Blend until smooth - approx 20 sec, speed 5
  • 4. Transfer content of TM5 bowl to jar
  • 5. Refrigerate in fridge
