The very iconic sauce behind Pad Thai. Sour and Salty and just a little bit sweet. You can drizzle this onto anything Asian...really.

  • Lime icon
    Lime½juice of
  • Tamarind paste icon
    Tamarind paste220 g
  • Soy sauce icon
    Soy sauce75 g
  • Fish sauce icon
    Fish sauce75 g
  • Water icon
    Water50 g
    Method

  • 1. Place all ingredients into the Thermomix bowl
  • 2. Cook with MC in place - approx 5 min, 80°C, speed 1
  • 3. Blend until smooth with MC fitted - approx 20 sec, speed 5
  • 4. Pour into a jar
  • 5. Keep refrigerated until use
