Method
1. Fit coarse grating disc (3) to direct prep attachment
2. Fit direct prep attachment to kCook Multi
3. Add dates and water to a clean heatproof bowl
4. Soak - 15 min
5. In a clean large mixing bowl, sift buckwheat flour and mix baking powder and ground almonds
6. Grease a clean square pan and line with parchment paper
7. Fit stir tool to kCook bowl
8. Add dark chocolate and unsalted butter to the kCook bowl
9. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
10. Attach lid to kCook bowl
11. Heat with filler cap removed until completely melted - 4 min 30 sec, 60°C, speed 3
12. Transfer melted chocolate to small bowl
13. Turn direct prep attachment to position 1
14. Grate fresh beet into the kCook bowl with direct prep attachment
15. Turn direct prep attachment to position 2
16. Transfer soaked dates to kCook bowl
17. Fit max blade to kCook bowl
18. Blend with filler cap fitted - 10 sec, speed 12
19. Mix with filler cap removed until completely mixed - 1 min, speed 5
20. Add egg to the kCook bowl gradually while machine is running
21. Add vanilla extract to the kCook bowl while blending
22. Add maple syrup to the kCook bowl while machine is running
23. Transfer melted chocolate back to kCook bowl
24. Blend with filler cap removed - 1 min, speed 5
25. Transfer dry ingredients to kCook bowl gradually while machine is running
26. Pre-heat oven - 180°C / 355°F
27. Transfer brownie batter to square pan
28. Bake square pan - 25 min, 180°C
29. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with flaked almonds
30. Let cool - approx 25 min
31. Slice and serve
