  1. Get a clean stand mixer bowl
  2. Add warm water
  3. Add granulated sugar
  4. Add active dried yeast
  5. Whisk together
  6. Leave for 10min
  7. Add egg
  8. Add salt
  9. Add evaporated milk
  10. Mix until combined
  11. Add all purpose flour
  12. Add unsalted butter
  13. Mix until combined
  14. Add all purpose flour
  15. Mix for approx 10min until dough forms
  16. Transfer dough to large mixing bowl
  17. Cover with plastic wrap
  18. Let rise for 2h
  19. Heat sunflower oil
  20. Roll out dough until 1/4" thick
  21. Cut into squares
  22. Fry with slotted spoon until golden brown
  23. Drain with paper towels
  24. Dust with powdered sugar
