  2. Line 2 muffin pans
  3. Get a clean medium bowl
  4. Add all purpose flour
  5. Add cocoa powder
  6. Add baking powder
  7. Add baking soda
  8. Whisk briefly until combined
  9. Get a clean stand mixer bowl
  10. Add room temperature unsalted butter
  11. Add granulated sugar
  12. Cream together until light and fluffy
  13. Add food coloring
  14. Add vanilla extract
  15. Mix well
  16. Transfer dry ingredients to batter
  17. Add egg and mix
  18. Add buttermilk
  19. Add apple cider vinegar
  20. Mix briefly until just combined
  21. Transfer batter to 2 muffin pans
  22. Bake for 20min until skewer tests clean
  23. Let cool completely
  24. Frost with piping bag
