    Method

  • 1. Pre-heat oven - 180°C / 355°F
  • 2. Grease 2 clean mini doughnut pans
  • 3. Add all purpose flour, caster sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt to a clean large mixing bowl and stir until combined
  • 4. Add egg, greek yogurt, vegetable oil, milk, vanilla extract and almond extract
  • 5. Stir all ingredients with a wooden spoon until just combined
  • 6. Transfer batter to large resealable plastic bag
  • 7. Snip the corner of the bag and pipe the mixture into the doughnut rings
  • 8. Sprinkle with glace cherries
  • 9. Bake until light golden - 12 min, 180°C
  • 10. Let cool
  • 11. In a clean large mixing bowl mix together powdered sugar and milk
  • 12. Add more milk slowly while whisking
  • 13. Dip doughnuts into the glaze, decorate with glace cherries and sprinkle with flaked almonds
