  2. Pre-heat
  3. Get a clean large mixing bowl
  4. Add egg
  5. Whisk until frothy
  6. Add granulated sugar
  7. Whisk until thick
  8. Add all purpose flour
  9. Add cocoa powder

  11. Get a clean medium glass bowl
  12. Add chopped dark chocolate
  13. Melt in microwave until smooth
  14. Fold chocolate mixture into batter
  15. Transfer batter to 2 round pans
  16. Bake for 20min until skewer tests clean
  17. Let cool for 5min
  18. Turn out to cooling rack
  19. Drizzle with kirsch
  20. Get a clean large mixing bowl
  21. Add cold heavy cream
  22. Whisk until soft peaks form
  23. Add mascarpone cheese
  24. Add seeds of vanilla bean pod
  25. Add finely chopped dark chocolate
  26. Mix until combined
  27. Get a clean small bowl
  28. Add canned morello cherries
  29. Spread cream with 2 cake
  30. Add fruit to 2 cake
  31. Assemble
  32. Get a clean medium glass bowl
  33. Add chopped dark chocolate
  34. Get a clean saucepan
  35. Add heavy cream
  36. Heat
  37. Pour cream into glaze
  38. Whisk together until smooth
  39. Spread glaze with 2 cake
  40. Garnish with cherries
