  1. Get a clean large saucepan
  2. Add granulated sugar
  3. Add honey
  4. Add cranberry jelly
  5. Add fruit tea bag
  6. Add cinnamon stick
  7. Add star anise pod
  8. Add cloves
  9. Add water
  10. Simmer until sugar has dissolved while stirring occasionally
  11. Add peeled, cored, halved pear
  12. Simmer for 12min until soft
  13. Strain with sieve
  14. Get a clean small bowl
  15. Add cranberries
  16. Transfer fruit to sauce
  17. Boil until soft while stirring occasionally
  18. Let cool briefly
  19. Serve
