    125 g (about 1 ¼ cups)

    125 g (about ¾ cup)

  • Unsalted butter icon

    35 g (about 2 ⅞ tablespoons)

    ¾ teaspoon (about 4 g)

  • Buttermilk icon

    25 g (about 1 ⅝ tablespoons)

    METHOD


  • 1. Pre-heat oven - 160°C
  • 2. Grease 2 clean baking sheets
  • 3. Add spelt flour, rolled oats, unsalted butter, light brown sugar, salt and baking powder to a clean large mixing bowl
  • 4. Blend until coarse crumbs form
  • 5. Add buttermilk to the dough
  • 6. Mix until dough forms
  • 7. Roll out until 1/8" (5mm) thick
  • 8. Cut out
  • 9. Transfer dough to 2 baking sheets
  • 10. Bake until light golden - 12 min, 160°C
  • 11. Let cool onto cooling rack
