Method
1. Pre-heat oven - 175°C
2. Grease 2 clean mini doughnut pans
3. Add all purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, ground cinnamon, ground ginger, allspice, ground cloves, salt and brown sugar to a clean large mixing bowl
4. Whisk briefly until combined
5. Add egg, milk and applesauce to the batter
6. Add unsalted butter to a clean small bowl
7. Melt in microwave - low heat
8. Add melted butter to the batter and mix until combined
9. Transfer batter to 2 mini doughnut pans
10. Bake until springy to touch - 7 min, 175°C
11. Add unsalted butter, brown sugar, maple syrup, milk and powdered sugar to a clean saucepan and mix
12. Heat until just boiling
13. Dip each mini doughnut into glaze
14. Let set onto cooling rack
15. Let cool until set
