    METHOD


  • 1. Add all purpose flour, baking soda and baking powder to a clean large mixing bowl
  • 2. Whisk thoroughly until mixture comes together
  • 3. Add salted butter to a clean glass measuring cup
  • 4. Melt in microwave - 1 min
  • 5. Add egg to the glass measuring cup
  • 6. Whisk
  • 7. Add cultured lowfat buttermilk and vanilla extract to the wet ingredients
  • 8. Pour wet ingredients into batter quickly and mix
  • 9. Add water to the batter bit by bit while mixing
  • 10. Cook until crispy
