    12 fl oz (about 360 g)warm

  • Active dried yeast icon

    2 ¼ teaspoons (about 9.11 g)

    ⅛ teaspoon (about 0.55 g)

  • All purpose flour icon

    3 ½ cups (about 453.6 g)

  • Kosher salt icon

    1 tablespoon (about 8.55 g)firm

  • Extra virgin olive oil icon

    1 tablespoon (about 13.65 g)

    METHOD


  • 1. Add water, active dried yeast and sugar to a clean plastic container
  • 2. Mix until blended then set aside
  • 3. Add all purpose flour, kosher salt and extra virgin olive oil to a clean large mixing bowl
  • 4. Mix completely until well combined
  • 5. Pour mixture into dough
  • 6. Mix in gradually until dough forms
  • 7. Turn out dough onto cutting board
  • 8. Knead until elastic
  • 9. Divide into quarters with dough scraper
  • 10. Knead one by one
  • 11. Form into balls then set aside
  • 12. Grease 4 clean plastic containers
  • 13. Transfer dough balls to 4 plastic containers one by one
  • 14. Cover tightly
  • 15. Let rise
