Step preview

  1. Get a clean medium bowl
  2. Add all purpose flour
  3. Add salt
  4. Add baking soda
  5. Add cornstarch
  6. Add poppy seeds
  7. Add orange zest
  8. Mix until combined
  9. Get a clean large mixing bowl
  10. Add unsalted butter
  11. Add powdered sugar
  12. Add vanilla extract
  13. Add orange extract
  14. Beat together until smooth
  15. Get a clean small bowl
  16. Add egg
  17. Add egg yolk
  18. Transfer eggs to large mixing bowl
  19. Mix until well combined
  20. Add dry ingredients to large mixing bowl gradually
  21. Shape into a ball
  22. Wrap with plastic wrap
  23. Chill in fridge for 3h
  24. Pre-heat
  25. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
  26. Roll out large mixing bowl until 1/4" thick
  27. Cut out
  28. Transfer content of large mixing bowl to baking sheet
  29. Chill large mixing bowl in freezer for 5min
  30. Bake cookies for 15min until browned at edges
  31. Cool for approx 2min
  32. Transfer onto cooling rack until completely cool
  33. Get a clean small glass bowl
  34. Add white chocolate
  35. Melt in microwave on low heat
  36. Dip half of cookies into chocolate mixture
  37. Transfer cookies onto cooling rack until set
