    Method

  • 1. Pre-heat oven - 220°C / 430°F
  • 2. In a small bowl toss together pear, sugar and cornstarch; set aside
  • 3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
  • 4. Lay out puff pastry the baking sheet
  • 5. Dot pastry with Brie, leaving about 1 1/2-inch border
  • 6. Arrange pear slices over top. Sprinkle evenly with rosemary
  • 7. Bake, in lower third of oven, for 20 to 25 minutes or until juices and pastry is golden brown
  • 8. Cool for 10 minutes
  • 9. Brush the warm honey over the pears. Sprinkle with hazelnuts
  • 10. Cut into slices and serve warm or room temperature
