The crust is more dense than your typical light and flaky quiche crust. That would be because it’s missing the light and fluffy ingredient…butter. Right now the only way I can eat asparagus is if it’s sauteed in a little buttah. But here’s to another way for me to enjoy it.

  1. Pre-heat
  2. Get a clean medium bowl
  3. Add whole wheat flour
  4. Add oat flour
  5. Add ground flaxseed
  6. Add egg
  7. Add olive oil
  8. Add honey
  9. Add water
  10. Mix until dough forms
  11. Grease a baking dish
  12. Press dough into baking dish
  13. Bake for 15min and continue
  14. Get a clean large mixing bowl
  15. Add grated cheddar cheese
  16. Add egg
  17. Add finely sliced green onion
  18. Add greek yogurt
  19. Add salt
  20. Add black pepper
  21. Whisk together
  22. Pour filling into baking dish
  23. Place asparagus gently
  24. Bake for 50min until just set
  25. Serve
