This citrusy twist on a traditional pecan pie is my favorite thing to make during the holidays. This pie is great with a variety of different nuts, however, pecan and walnut are my favorite.

  1. Pre-heat
  2. Get a clean pie dish
  3. Add basic pie crust
  4. Get a clean saucepan
  5. Add butter
  6. Melt on low heat
  7. Add dark brown sugar
  8. Stir until smooth and turn off heat
  9. Add corn syrup
  10. Add salt
  11. Add orange curaçao
  12. Add zest of orange
  13. Mix together
  14. Add egg
  15. Add pecan pieces
  16. Mix together
  17. Transfer filling to pie dish
  18. Bake for 1h until set
