  • Red wine vinegar icon
    Red wine vinegar250 g
  • Granulated sugar icon
    Granulated sugar55 g
  • Salt icon
    Salt17 g
  • Red onion icon
    Red onion1quartered, finely chopped
    Method

  • 1. Add red wine vinegar, granulated sugar and salt to a clean saucepan
  • 2. Cook until just boiling then set aside - high heat
  • 3. Add red onion to a clean jar and cover with vinegar mixture
  • 4. Marinate in fridge - approx 8 hr
  • 5. Serve
