  1. Pre-heat
  2. Prepare a loaf pan
  3. Get a clean large mixing bowl
  4. Add room temperature unsalted butter
  5. Add granulated sugar
  6. Add vanilla extract
  7. Cream until pale and light
  8. Add egg one by one while mixing
  9. Get a clean medium bowl
  10. Add all purpose flour
  11. Add salt
  12. Add baking powder
  13. Whisk briefly until combined
  14. Transfer dry ingredients to batter bit by bit while mixing
  15. Get a clean small bowl
  16. Add blueberries
  17. Transfer fruit to batter
  18. Mix gently until combined
  19. Pour batter into loaf pan
  20. Bake for 45min until skewer tests clean
  21. Let cool for approx 30min
  22. Turn out onto cooling rack
