When I came up with these basil lemon turkey burgers I knew I had a big winner on my hands! They had loads of bright and fresh flavor from the basil and lemon for that Italian flair that I love so much.

  • Truffle salt icon

    Method

  • 1. Mix in lemon, egg, dijon mustard and fresh basil leaves in the large mixing bowl
  • 2. Add truffle salt to the large mixing bowl
  • 3. Pour canola oil into the large mixing bowl slowly while whisking
  • 4. Whisk until creamy then set aside
  • 5. Stir in fresh basil leaves, lemon, dijon mustard, salt, black pepper and egg to a clean large mixing bowl
  • 6. Add turkey and mix thoroughly until well combined
  • 7. Divide into quarters
  • 8. Heat butter in a clean large cast iron skillet
  • 9. Cook one side of the burger patty- approx 5 min, medium heat
  • 10. Flip and add smoked mozzarella cheese on top the fried part
  • 11. Cook - approx 5 min
  • 12. Serve with burger bun or pita bread if preferred
