  • Unsalted butter icon

    Method

  • 1. Pre-heat oven - 200°C / 395°F
  • 2. Grease a clean square pan then set aside
  • 3. Add unsalted butter to a clean small bowl
  • 4. Heat slowly until melted then set aside - Power Level 5
  • 5. Add coarse cornmeal, salt, baking soda and baking powder to a clean large mixing bowl
  • 6. Blend until well combined then set aside
  • 7. Mix in plain yogurt and honey in a clean medium bowl
  • 8. Add melted butter
  • 9. Add egg to a clean small bowl and beat until just blended
  • 10. Add Egg to wet ingredients
  • 11. Whisk wet ingredients until well blended
  • 12. Transfer wet ingredients to dry ingredients
  • 13. Mix together with spoon until just combined
  • 14. Transfer batter to square pan
  • 15. Bake until golden brown - 20 min, 200°C / 395°F middle rack
  • 16. Remove carefully
  • 17. Cut
