    Method

  • 1. Pre-heat oven - 175°C
  • 2. Grease a clean cake tin
  • 3. Sift whole wheat flour, white sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt into a clean large mixing bowl
  • 4. Add banana, dark chocolate chips, vegetable oil, egg, vanilla extract, almond milk and water to a clean medium bowl
  • 5. Mix until combined
  • 6. Add dry ingredients to batter gradually until smooth
  • 7. Pour batter into cake tin
  • 8. Bake until skewer tests clean and let cool - approx 45 min, 175°C
  • 9. Add white chocolate chips to a clean medium glass bowl
  • 10. Heat until melted while stirring occasionally
  • 11. Add greek yogurt to the icing
  • 12. Mix in
  • 13. Transfer icing to cake
  • 14. Spread until covered
  • 15. Serve
