Delicious on it’s own straight from the jar, or on pikelets, pancakes, toast, as a topping for yoghurt, or in the brownies recipe. All good.

    INGREDIENTS


  • Walnuts icon
    Walnuts

    200 g (about 1 ¾ cups)shelled

  • Coffee beans icon
    Coffee beans

    1 tablespoon (about 15 g)freshly ground

  • Sea salt icon
    Sea salt

    1 pinch

  • Vanilla bean paste icon
    Vanilla bean paste

    1 teaspoon (about 6 g)

  • Dark chocolate chips icon
    Dark chocolate chips

    110 g (about 550)

    METHOD


  • 1. Place nuts on a lined tray
  • 2. Bake - 10 min, 200°C
  • 3. Place hot nuts into thermomix bowl with coffee, salt and vanilla
  • 4. Blend - approx 20 sec, speed 6
  • 5. Scrape down sides of TM5 bowl
  • 6. Add chocolate chips
  • 7. Blend - approx 10 sec, speed 6
  • 8. Scrape down sides of TM5 bowl
  • 9. Scrape into a jar and cool completely
