This lemonade is one of my favorites. Fresh squeezed lemons makes it taste like you're drinking pure sunshine in a glass. The lavender is calming and adds a unique flavor without overpowering the lemon. Also delicious with a shot (3/4 cup for full batch) of vodka or gin for a summertime party for grown-ups.

Step preview

  1. Get a clean saucepan
  2. Add water
  3. Add granulated sugar
  4. Heat until boiling
  5. Simmer until sugar has dissolved and turn off heat
  6. Mix in lavender
  7. Let cool completely
  8. Strain with sieve then set aside
  9. Get a clean carafe
  10. Add juice of lemon
  11. Add water
  12. Transfer syrup to liquid
  13. Fill with ice
  14. Stir well
