Old school hollandaise is a LOT of work and heaps of dishwashing afterwards, plus a sore arm from all that whisking. Get egg benny-ing in no time!

  • Lemon icon

    ½ (about 29 g)juice of

    3 (about 150 g)

  • Sea salt icon

  • Butter icon

    300 g (about 1 ¼ cups)

    METHOD


  • 1. Add egg, lemon and sea salt to the TM5 bowl
  • 2. Blend - approx 1 min, speed 8
  • 3. Add butter to a clean saucepan
  • 4. Heat - medium-high heat
  • 5. When the butter is boiling, set the timer on the Thermomix for *1 minute*
  • 6. Transfer content of saucepan to TM5 bowl while machine is running
  • 7. Serve immediately over eggs, asparagus, grilled steak, make eggs benedict
