  2. Grease a loaf pan
  3. Get a clean saucepan
  4. Add salted butter
  5. Add molasses
  6. Melt on low heat
  7. Get a clean large mixing bowl
  8. Add whole wheat flour
  9. Add all purpose flour
  10. Add baking soda
  11. Add oats
  12. Add turbinado sugar
  13. Mix until combined
  14. Make a well
  15. Add stout
  16. Add buttermilk
  17. Transfer wet ingredients to batter
  18. Mix briefly until just combined
  19. Transfer batter to loaf pan
  20. Cut
  21. Dust with whole wheat flour
  22. Bake for 10min
  23. Reduce
  24. Bake for 30min until hollow-sounding when tapped
  25. Let cool for 5min
  26. Turn out on round wire rack until completely cool
