    METHOD


  • 1. Pre-heat oven - 175°C
  • 2. Line 2 clean baking sheets with parchment paper
  • 3. Add unsalted butter, cream cheese, granulated sugar and vanilla extract to a clean large mixing bowl
  • 4. Mix until creamy
  • 5. Add salt and all purpose flour to a clean medium bowl
  • 6. Transfer dry ingredients to dough
  • 7. Add walnuts to the medium bowl
  • 8. Mix dough until well combined
  • 9. Turn out on lightly-floured surface
  • 10. Form
  • 11. Roll in walnuts
  • 12. Chill in freezer until firm - 15 min
  • 13. Cut carefully
  • 14. Transfer dough to 2 baking sheets
  • 15. Bake until golden brown - 18 min, 175°C
  • 16. Transfer onto cooling rack and let cool
