Method
1. Pre-heat oven - 175°C / 350°F
2. Line 2 clean baking sheets with parchment paper
3. Add unsalted butter, cream cheese, granulated sugar and vanilla extract to a clean large mixing bowl
4. Mix until creamy
5. Mix in salt and all purpose flour in a clean medium bowl, then add to the batter
6. Add chopped walnuts and mix dough until well combined
7. Turn out on lightly-floured surface, form into a 2" roll then flatten slightly to form sides
8. Roll in walnuts
9. Chill in freezer until firm - 15 min
10. Cut carefully
11. Transfer dough to 2 baking sheets
12. Bake until golden brown - 18 min, 175°C / 350°F
13. Transfer onto cooling rack and let cool
