  3. Get a clean large mixing bowl
  4. Add room temperature unsalted butter
  5. Add cream cheese
  6. Add granulated sugar
  7. Add vanilla extract
  8. Mix until creamy
  9. Get a clean medium bowl
  10. Add salt
  11. Add all purpose flour
  12. Transfer dry ingredients to dough
  13. Add toasted, chopped walnuts
  14. Mix dough until well combined
  15. Turn out on lightly-floured surface
  16. Form
  17. Roll in toasted, chopped walnuts
  18. Chill in freezer for 15min until firm
  19. Cut carefully
  20. Transfer dough to 2 baking sheets
  21. Bake for 18min until golden brown
  22. Transfer to cooling rack and let cool
